Prop 30!
Prop 30 along with other props are focusing on education. If prop 30 doesn't pass many school teachers will be laid off, classes will be cut and on top of that the tuition will go up for CSU's and UC's. The other day I was watching tv and prop 38 will cause almost the same outcome if it doesn't pass but for k-12. I say enough of cutting the education and the jobs of those who are trying to educate us! I think that all these props would not be an issue if rich would just agree to pay more taxes. If the rich pays more taxes, more dollars will go towards our government and we will not need to raise the tuition fees for already broke student, nor will the teacher lose their jobs. Vote Yes on prop 30!!

Take a look at this quick, very instructional video. It explains why the rich should pay more taxes, in the name of equality, which is a large issue many have with the idea of raise taxes for the rich. When explained like this, it's very simple. Let's rally together to support the Buffet Rule, in the name of economic equality.

Remember that time.....
Hey, remember back when you could trust the rich, gas used to cost 20 cents to the gallon, and hotdogs would fall from the sky like rain? No? Good. Because it never happened. Did you know that 55,000 millionaires pay less on their income taxes than many middle class Americans? (http://www.whitehouse.gov/economy/buffett-rule). This is getting out of control. There's no time to waste. We need to pass the Buffet Rule, which would cut down on the riches ability to exploit the loopholes within the Government, allowing them to pay a lower effective tax amount.

Taxes don't kill people. People kill people.
Our country has been suffering for a while now. Many seem to blame Obama for our countries debt, but the truth is it's been growing since before his term. Obama has actually taken a series of step toward solving our budget crisis, and is only met with blind opposition due to his Democrat status. One of these plans includes a tax increase for the rich (those making over $250,000 a household) from 35% to 39.5%. If the rich weren't harnessing all their loopholes to avoid taxes, the Government would be collecting 350 billion a year from them, and in a decade, that would translate into trillions, severely reducing the nation debt (http://robertreich.org/post/4344201496). We understand that paying taxes aren't amazingly fun, but they keep our homes running. They keep our communities thriving. While the middle and lower class are bearing the full weight of their share, many of the rich get away with not paying any at all. We strongly believe this needs to change, and we support Obama's plan to hold the rich accountable for their share of the nation.
